It is not only the quality of work and customer service that sets us apart from our competitors.

Its also our thinking. MFB have always disputed the widely held concept of producing a cabinet and then trying to adapt it to suit all application. The MFB range of cabinets are purpose built for each application. An industrial cabinet does not suit a computer room environment, a wall mounting cabinet is not intended to meet the requirements of an RFI/EMI shielded cabinet. However, continuity of design ensures wherever possible, accessories will be compatible throughout the range of cabinets.

MFB has a long tradition of manufacturing high quality racks, cabinets, consoles and enclosures. We are known in our industry for our tenacity to achieve. Couple this with our experience in design and manufacture, as well as the state-of-the-art tools we employ, and you'll have some idea of what MFB is about.

In 1975 MFB designed and fabricated the first of what was to become Australia's most comprehensive range of 19" Electronic Cabinets. MFB have gone on to become the acknowledged leader in the Australian Rack Cabinet marketplace. This was further ratified with the awarding of the prestigious 'Australian Design Award' for 19 inch rack cabinets.

Continued expansion led to the establishment in 1990 of a Sydney Sales Office and warehouse, and the creation of MFB Asia Pte Ltd, a Singapore based company set up to service the Asian market.

In 2000, MFB setup a joint venture program with a Manilla based company in the Philippines to produce our standard range of S2005 cabinets, S2002 consoles, RF/EMI and Industrial Cabinets.

In 2002, MFB moved to its current premises in Wantirna South, Victoria. This purpose built building of approximately 6300 square meters (68,000 square feet) accommodates administration, sales, CAD/ CAM centre, sheet metal fabrication, baked enamel painting and powder coat finishing, light engineering, assembly and warehousing facilities all under one roof. The company employs over 60 people in Melbourne and Sydney.
